Our Story

On Independence Day (July 4) 2011 we made the break from mainstream “corporate life” where we worked as employees or interim employees. Corporate life has taught us a great deal and we would not be where we are today without the help, support and sponsorship of some very large companies with whom we have had the honour of working and leading.

Having the ability to put into practice self-generated ideas and see them through to fruition on huge scales; the interaction with literally thousands of fellow employees and the pride that comes from turning around poorly performing business units and securing future employment for others. There is a lot to be said for what Corporate life can offer.

BUT, like many of you reading this will acknowledge, Corporates have their downsides too. Politics, hidden agendas, excruciating decision processes, greed, deceit and too little time spent doing the things that matter, to name but a few!

Green Giraffe is about us putting our money where our mouth is and investing in companies where we can use our skills to help lead to a better, brighter future. It’s also about working with Corporates that want to be more agile, better employers and more profitable.

For those of you that knew us in the past and hindered us we forgive you and for everybody out there that has helped us and continues to do so, we thank you.
